DHAKA: Investors witnessed fall amid choppy trading of the prices of benchmark indices in country’s two bourses on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 1.09 points or 0.02 percent to stand at 4535.75 points at 11:44am.

Trade deals stood at 32548 with volume of transactions at Tk 1331.93 million.

Of the issues traded, 118 advanced, 95 declined and 62 remained unchanged.

Orion Pharma topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk164.04 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were LANKABAFIN, LAFSURCEML, ZAHEENSPIN and CMCKAMAL.

Chittagong stocks, however, saw rise of price indices with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8504.32 by gaining over 0.52 points at 11:40am.
 
Out of the issues traded, 61 gained, 76 declined and 31 remained unchanged.
