DSE, CSE see down at opening

DHAKA: The prices of most of the shares at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed negative trends from the early hours of trading on Wednesday, maintaining the previous day’s negative trend.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down to 4475.52 points at 11:42am

Trade deals stood at 33470 with volume of transactions at Tk 1578.99 million.

Of the issues traded, 109 advanced, 106 declined and 54 remained unchanged.
   
ORIONPHARM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 206.68 million having changed hands

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw negative trend from the early hours of trading with its Selective Category Index, CSCX, 8397.30 at 11:36am.
