DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 8.16 point to stand at 4443.63 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 77,734 with transaction at Tk 3109.50 million. Of the issues traded, 159 advanced, 110 declined and 48 remained unchanged.

BSRMLTD topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 185.32 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were ORIONPHARM, QSMDRYCELL, LANKABAFIN, MALEKSPIN, CMCKAMAL, UPGDCL, SUMITPOWER, BSRMSTEEL and BSCCL.

Chittagong stocks followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8305.84 by dropping over 14.77 points.

Out of the issues traded, 97 gained, 98 declined and 42 remained unchanged.
