DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 3.91 points to stand at 4457.80 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 83938 with transaction at Tk 3138.34 million. Of the issues traded, 152 advanced, 113 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 230.72 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were CMCKAMAL, ORIONPHARM, SINOBANGLA, IFADAUTOS, AMANFEED, BXPHARMA, QSMDRYCELL, SUMITPOWER and PREMIERCEM.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 13,728 by gaining over 13 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 115 gained, 84 declined and 44 remained unchanged.
