DHAKA: The four-day ‘Thailand Week’ will be organized at International Convention City of Bashundhara in city on March 16.

Bangladesh commerce minister Tofail Ahmed will inaugurate the fair, to be organized by Thai commerce ministry’s Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and Thai embassy in Dhaka.

Embassy officials made the announcement at a press conference on Sunday (March 13).

Thai charge d’affaires Phasit Chudabuddhi and Bangladesh-Thai Chamber of Commerce president Ayub Ali, among others, were present at the press conference.

They said that the fair to showcase Thailand products will be open for businesspeople on March 16 and 17 and for all on March 18 and 19.

The organizers also hoped that the upcoming fair will play a role in strengthening the relations between the two countries.
