DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, rose over 8.27 points to stand at 4475.89 at the close of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 103535 with transaction at Tk 4350.69 million. Of the issues traded, 176 advanced, 90 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 263.46 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were AFCAGRO, ORIONINFU, AMANFEED, ORIONPHARM, BDTHAI, ALLTEX, POWERGRID, IFADAUTOS     and SUMITPOWER.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8389.64 by gaining over 12.17 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 122 gained, 79 declined and 44 remained unchanged.
