DSE, CSE up amid choppy trading

DHAKA: The two bourses of the country saw rise of share prices indices amid choppy trading in the early hours on Monday, the second session of trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 8.26 points or 0.18 percent to stand at 4438.57 points at 11:28am.

Trade deals stood at 24,290 with transaction at Tk 936.05 million. Of the issues traded, 128 advanced, 74 declined and 48 remained unchanged.

Keya Cosmetics topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 144.22 million having changed hands.

Other toppers of the market were Emerald Oil, BSRM Limited, Unique Hotel & Resorts Limited (UNIQUEHRL) and Aman Feed Limited.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, gaining over 18.26 points to stand at 8304.21 at 11:24am.

Of the issues traded here, 67 gained, 49 declined and 20 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was Tk 50.69 million till the time.
