DHAKA: Country’s two bourses saw rise of share price indices amid choppy trading on Monday, the second session of trading week.
DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 11.86 points or 0.26 percent to stand at 4442.15 points at the end of day’s trading.
Trade deals stood at 97,952 with transaction at Tk 4,306.92 million. Of the issues traded, 151 advanced, 108 declined and 58 remained unchanged.
Keya Cosmetics topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 221.36 million having changed hands.
Other toppers of the market were Beximco Pharmaceuticals, Emerald Oil, BSRM Limited, Square Pharmaceuticals, AFC Agro Biotech Limited, BD-THAI Aluminium, Titas Gas, Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited and Alltex Industries Ltd.
The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, gaining over 18.87 points to stand at 8304.82 on Monday.
Of the issues traded here, 114 gained, 78 declined and 38 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 245.92 million.
