DHAKA: Country’s two bourses saw negative trends of share price indices on Tuesday (March 22), the third session of trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 31.92 points or 0.71 percent to stand at 4410.22 points at the end of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 87,320 with transaction at over Tk 3,234.80 million. Of the issues traded, 90 advanced, 175 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

Square Pharmaceuticals topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 237.98 million having changed hands.

Other toppers of the market were Keya Cosmetics Ltd, AFC Agro Biotech Limited, BSRM Limited, Beximco Pharmaceuticals, Aman Feed Limited, National Feed Mill Limited, Alltex Industries Ltd, Emerald Oil and Orion Infusion Ltd.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, losing over 62.50 points to stand at 8242.32 on Tuesday.

Of the issues traded here, 66 gained, 142 declined and 26 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 203.14 million.
