DHAKA: Country’s two bourses saw negative trends of share price indices at the opening hours on Wednesday (March 23), the fourth session of trading week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), shed over 7.06 points or 0.16 percent to stand at 4403.15 points at 11:30am.

Trade deals stood at 39,946 with transaction at over Tk 994.03 million. Of the issues traded, 65 advanced, 130 declined and 53 remained unchanged.

Dragon Sweater And Spinning Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 236.26 million having changed hands.

Other toppers of the market were Keya Cosmetics Ltd, Aman Feed Limited, BSRM Limited, National Feed Mill Limited, Emerald Oil, AFC Agro Biotech Limited, Zaheen Spinning Limited, Orion Infusion Ltd and Titas Gas.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also followed the trend, losing over 35.02 points to stand at 8208.32 at 11:27am.

Of the issues traded here, 25 gained, 79 declined and 23 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk79.92 million.
