DHAKA: Abdul Monem and ASM Mohiuddin Monem receive President’s Industrial Award in city on Wednesday (March 30).
Abdul Monem, Managing Director of Abdul Monem Limited (AML) received the President’s Industrial Award under the large industries category for playing an important role in economic progress through industrial development, creation of employment, and increasing national income.
ASM Mohiuddin Monem, Deputy Managing Director of AML, was also honored with the prestigious award under the high-tech industries category.
Held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium, the President’s Industrial Award event was graced by the presence of President Abdul Hamid.
The event was chaired by industries minister Amir Hossain Amu. The welcome speech was delivered by industries secretary Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, ndc.
The President handed over awards to the winners in different winners, including Abdul Monem Limited.
With the motto ‘Touching Lives, Building Capabilities’, AML has been successfully conducting business in Bangladesh since 1956. Using their valuable resources, the company has been created value-added products and services that are contributing to positive economic, social, and environmental progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
Abdul Monem, founder of AML, has been running the organization with his strong leadership with competent support of his sons ASM Mainuddin Monem and ASM Mohiuddin Monem, who are serving the organization as Deputy Managing Directors.
In the last 56 years, AML has written various success stories along the way which includes successfully completing various projects funded by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Islamic Development Bank and Bangladesh government.
