DSE up, CSE down Wednesday

DHAKA: The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed inflation of share price indices while the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) saw loss on Wednesday (April 6), the fourth trading session of the week.

DSEX, the prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained over 4.12 points or 0.09 percent to stand at 4413.85 points at the end of day’s trading.

Trade deals stood at 136,700 with transaction at over Tk 4276.64 million. Of the issues traded, 119 advanced, 150 declined and 49 remained unchanged.

Doreen Power Generations And Systems Limited topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 671.08 million having changed hands till the time.


Other toppers of the market were Keya Cosmetics, BSRM Limited, The Ibn Sina Pharmaceuticals, Aman Feed Limited, Lankabangla Finance Ltd., Baraka Power Limited, IT Consultants Limited, Orion Infusion Ltd., and Dragon Sweater and Spinning Limited.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), however, witnessed losses, as CSCX, the prime index of the port city bourse, lost over 6.14 points to stand at 8247.49 points.

Of the issues traded in the port city share market, 89 gained, 120 declined and 34 remained unchanged. The total value of exchange was over Tk 418.20 million.
