DHAKA: Palestine president Mahmoud Abbas met with Egypt’s intelligence chief Mohamed al-Tohami on Saturday in Cairo.
Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, The Jerusalem Post publishes this report on Sunday.
Abbas and Tohami discussed the situation in the Palestinian territories, Israeli settlement building in east Jerusalem and the West Bank and Palestinian reconciliation talks.
During his three day visit to Cairo, Abbas is also expected to meet with interim Egyptian president Adly Mansour, defence minister Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and foreign minister Nabil Fahmi.
