DHAKA: At least two people were killed in Belgium on Tuesday in a road accident involving some 40 to 50 cars, local media reported.
The chain collision on a highway near the western town of Zonnebeke is believed to have been caused by fog, Belgian authorities told the Belga news agency, reports The Straits Times.
The highway was closed in both directions.
Multiple injuries were reported. The Red Cross has installed a field hospital at the site of the accident, according to Belga.
