DHAKA: Americans take a positive view of the interim nuclear accord between the Western powers and Iran, according to poll results reported by the Politico news site.

The survey, which was commissioned by a liberal organisation aligned with the Democratic Party, showed that 34 percent of those who were ‘a little’ familiar with the deal supported it, while 22 percent were opposed.

Forty-one percent said they had no opinion or did not know enough to answer.

The poll was commissioned by Americans United for Change, a group with an avowedly liberal orientation, according to Politico, reports The Jerusalem Post.
