DHAKA: Six people, including a child and two students, were killed in two separate attacks in Afghanistan this weekend, officials said.

In one incident, a car struck a roadside bomb in the eastern province of Kunar Sunday morning, provincial spokesman Abdul Ghani Mutamim said, reports CNN.

Four civilians, including a child, were killed in that attack.

Separately, two students died and four others were wounded when a missile struck the southern province of Logar on Saturday night.

Provincial spokesman Din Mohammad Darwesh said all the victims were students between ages 12 and 16. He said it was unclear who fired the missile.

No one has claimed responsibility for either attack.
