MUZAFFARABAD: At least 13 people were killed on Friday when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in Pakistani-administered Kashmir, police said.
The accident took place near the town of Kotli, 50 kilometres (30 miles) south of regional capital Muzaffarabad, local police station chief Sohail Ahmed told AFP.
"At least 13 people were killed and 21 others were wounded in the bus accident," Ahmed said.
The driver lost control of the bus at a turn and it fell into a deep ravine, he said.
Pakistan has one of the world`s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
