Moving too fast in a relationship?

Moving too fast in a relationship might sound fun initially, but can turn into a disaster later on. Here's how not to move too fast.

While it is good to build strong relationships, it is also essential you do it at the right pace. Moving too quickly in a relationship could be fatal, both for you, your partner and your relationship. You don't want to be in a territory you didn't see yourself in just a few weeks back where commitment seems like a burden. Here are few things you should follow to avoid moving too fast:

Make sure you build a connect on a mental and emotional level before going for that first night. While physical bonding is a good way of building up emotional intimacy, it could also lead to complications. Many a times such hasty choices end up in annoying relationships and you don't want to be lying in bed with someone you don't like. And physical intimacy at an early stage of your relationship will make it more difficult to move on.

You should also clearly communicate your boundaries. Lot of the times we tend to let go of things that annoy us. But that needs to be communicated at any cost if you really want your relationship to work. If you think the other person is getting too needy too early on, you are better of telling them before it gets too much.

Like they say, all good things are better done slow and steady. So if you are looking for a steady relationship you would like to cherish, take it slow.
