Golden Glow

Full-on gilded makeup can be tricky if you’re fair like January Jones, so take a tip from the actress and incorporate other warm tones in your makeup.

‘January’s makeup was all about fun spring color’, said CHANEL celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin who created the look using products from the line.

‘We chose a matte coral to create a prominent pastel mouth with a slightly playful feeling.’

Goodwin began by applying a lightweight foundation to the actress’s skin, then shaded her cheekbones with a matte bronzing powder.

To keep the look consistent, she blended the same bronzer onto the crease of Jones’s eyes, then swept a gold cream shadow onto her lids.

‘The shade played off the vivid yellow in her dress, and her turquoise and gold necklace’, Goodwin said.
