Purple is considered to be the current colour of the season. There are so many ways you can add a hint of this hue to your room.

Living area You can have curtains in light or dark purple. However, you can also pair white curtains along with purple upholstery. A combination of purple, pink and white floral designs look great.

Bedroom Your bedsheet or bedcover can be in purple or mauve. Alternatively, you can also have a purple wallpaper in your bedroom to make the whole room look soothing.

Dining area You can have a table runner in purple or possibly also have seating in the dining room in shades of purple.

Tips —
- Purple looks best when combined with patterns in white.
- Make sure that you do not overdo with the whole purple look.
- While choosing a shade of purple, always go with a milder hue. This way you won't go wrong with the colour.

Other colours you can choose — - Pink is another colour that looks good as a colour option just as purple. - If you do not want bright shades, you can alternatively select a sombre shade of green as well.
