Have you heard about tight lining yet

For all those women who wake up in the morning wondering how to make their eyes look larger, a new make-up procedure that has been doing the rounds on the Internet and has been touted to be a trend for 2016, is tightlining. Sometimes, when you draw a line on your eyelids and think it has been a perfect one; in just a few hours, the line starts crinkling making your eyeliner look smudged. To keep it simple and also make sure that your liner stays on for a long time, try this new technique.

How to do it
Wash your face and pat dry. Remember there shouldn't be any traces of water around your eyes. Then, apply a compact on your eyelids so that the area stays dry and fresh. Avoid putting foundation on this area. Next, take an eyeliner pencil and draw a line between the roots of your lashes, carefully tracing it along your upper waterline.

The correct way to do it
Line your top waterline — to begin with, raise your chin and place your index finger above the outer corner of your eye, lifting it upward. Then hold the pencil vertically and with your other hand, trace back and forth under your lashes. Repeat the process if you want to make it darker.

Darken the roots of your top lashes
Pull your top lid gently by pressing one finger on the outer corner. Bury the tip of the pencil deep into your lashes at the outer corner of your eyes, wiggling it back and forth as you move inward. Take your time while doing this and make sure that you do not injure yourself.

Accentuate your bottom lashes
Hold the pencil just below your inner rim (and not the waterline) and lightly dash the pencil right at the base of your lashes. To darken the roots, it is important to use a cream-based or a gel-based liner.

Clean the area
To make your eyes look beautiful and to help them stand out, run a pointy swab of cotton dipped in make-up remover or a cleanser along the top and bottom lids to clear any mess.

Curl your lashes

To complete the look and get the wide-eyed effect, make sure that you swipe in a volumnising mascara.
