Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted light to moderate rain to occur at most places over north, south, central and north-eastern region in the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today (October 5).

According to the met office bulletin, light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 33.0 degree celsius jointly at Chattogram and Sitakunda and minimum temperature today was recorded 23.6 degree celsius jointly at Nikli.

Country's maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded173 mllimeter (mm) at Khepupara.
