NARSINGDI: Four people were killed and 20 other injured in a road accident in Narayanpur bus stand area under Belabo upazila of the district early Thursday.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said a bus collided head-on with a microbus in the area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway around 2:00am, leaving four people dead.

The injured were admitted to various hospitals of Narsingdi and Boirob upazila of Kishoreganj.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Belabo thana officer-in-charge Badrul Amin Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
