NATORE: Three people were killed and six others injured in a road accident on Natore-Dhaka highway in Hoybatpur area of the district on Friday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Locals said that a Dhaka-bound passenger bus collided on a passenger laden Leguna in the area at around 7:00am, leaving one dead on the spot.

Later, locals rushed the injured to Natore Sadar Hospital where two others died under treatment.

Natore Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Aslam Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
