10-Kg gold seized at Ctg Airport

CHITTAGONG: The customs officials seized 90 pieces abandoned gold bars, weighing about ten kilogram from a flight of Bangladesh Biman (BG-022) at Shah Amanat International Airport of Chittagong on Friday morning.

Airport Customs Assistant Commissioner Mashiur Rahman told banglanews, “Customs officers recovered the gold bars from luggage holder of the aircraft which came from Dubai.”

The seized gold worth around Tk 4.5 crores, he added.
