Hoping for better governance 

(New Year's message to Bangladesh Civil Service members) 

Better governance should be our mission, 

Be judicious in all your action & decision,

 Address the problems having spirit of patriotism,

 Don't aspire for illegal wealth accumulation, 

Work diligently to fulfill people's expectation. 

Spend everyday for people with optimum caring, 

Sign off their grieves, pains and suffering,

 Basic traits should be integrity & efficiency, 

Ensure a higher degree of transparency. 

Apply rule of law for all citizens equally, 

Nation wants a corruption & nepotism free society, 

Work hard with enormous courage & potentiality. 

Use your heart & head for the cause of the nation, 

Root out all social ills, evils & deviation, 

Make Bangladesh shining in the Global horizon.

 Drive the administration with iron-hand, 

Make the country a safe-heaven. 

Love the people, make them more closer, 

Render them services with highest care, 

Be respectful to them with good manner. 

Bangladesh will be the world's wonder, 

This is certainly our dreams & desire, Happy New Year.
