DHAKA: The High Court on Thursday directed the authorities concerned to take necessary action against those who were involved in post polls violence in 2001.

It also asked to submit a progress report before it on May 11 by implementing the direction.   

An HC bench comprising Justice Kazi Rezaul Haque and ABM Altaf Hossain passed the order.   

On March 10, the High Court had directed to publish the probe report in gazette notifications.
