DHAKA: A passenger bus was torched in city’s Gabtoli area Tuesday afternoon soon after the extension of the ongoing 72-hour hartal of BNP-led 20-party alliance to Thursday evening.

Sources said miscreants set fire to the bus around 4:00pm.

Witnesses said that the bus used to plying from Gabtoli to Sadarghat on route-7.

There was no report of casualty as the passengers got down from the bus immediately, said a spot account of the incident.
