DHAKA: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda on Friday (February 02) said that inclusive election is not possible without participation of the BNP.

“The party (BNP) is holding important position in the political arena. So, there will not be participatory polls without the political party,” he said.

The CEC said this while talking to journalists at his office at Election Commission Secretariat in the city.

Earlier, Chief Whip in the 10th Parliament ASM Feroz has collected nomination paper for incumbent President Md Abdul Hamid to contest the presidential election slated for February 18.
