DHAKA: A Dhaka court sent BNP leaders Aman Ullah Aman and Nazim Uddin Alam to jail after they were produced before the court on Saturday (February 03).
BNP chairperson’s adviser Aman Ullah Aman and the party’s executive committee member Nazim Uddin Alam were arrested on Friday evening (February 02).
They were produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court in Dhaka in a police assault case filed with Shahbagh Police Station in the city.
CMM magistrate Subarata Gosh sent the BNP leaders to the jail, rejecting their bail petition.
Lawyer Syed Nazrul Islam moved for Aman and Nazim in the court.
