DHAKA: BNP is set to form human chain on Tuesday (March 6) demanding unconditional release of the party Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The program will be held in front of National Press Club from 11 am to 12 pm and countrywide for the same demand.

Besides, party will observe a one-hour sit-in program at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka from 11 am onwards on Thursday (March 8).

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed made the announcement at a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka Monday (March 5).

We have informed police about our human chain and sit-in programs. Hopefully, they will cooperate with us in observing the programs, Rizvi added.

Even, they are taking preparation for 12th March program which is going to be held at Suhrawardy Udyan in the city. Meanwhile, they have sent latter to the administration, said Rizvi.

BNP’s adviser Abul Khayer Bhuiyan, Ataur Rahman Dhali, and co-organizing Secretary Abdus Salam Azad, among others were present.
