Quader was talking to the reporters after a meeting of Awami League organizing body Thursday (March 8).
“None will be spared if any such kinds of incident were happened out of the March 7 rally venue Suhrawardy Udyan. It isn’t a concern of our party but the government has the responsibility”, he said.
The home minister has said that the matter is being investigated, he added.
None was spared after committing such types of activities during this government’s regime.
Ruling Awami League held a public rally to mark the historic March 7 on Wednesday at the Suhrawardy Udyan, attended by Prime Minister and Awami League chief Sheikh Hasina.
Thousands of activists joined the rally, marching on the streets in processions.
A post by a teenage girl, who said she was sexually assaulted in the city’s Bangla Motor area by men heading to the rally, went viral on Facebook later in the day, sparking huge outcry.
Several other women also reported similar incidents and shared their experiences of harassment in social media posts.
