BNP looking for excuses to boycott polls: Inu

KUSHTIA: Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu alleged that BNP is looking for excuses to boycott the upcoming election, in the name of Khaleda Zia’s release, polls time supportive government, and false cases filed against their party men.

Inu, also the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), was talking to the reporters while distributing the autobiography of Bangabandhu among the students, in Bheramara of Kushtia Saturday (March 10).

“BNP finds no dignity to join the election accompanying Khaleda Zia as she is a convicted of corruption charges. The court will fix her destiny. The government has nothing to do regarding this”, he said.

Kushtia Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP, circle) Nure Alam Siddiqui and JSD Secretary General Abdul Alim Swapan were among others present there.
