SUHRAWARDY UDYAN: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad said that his party is prepared to come to power in the next election.

“JP is ready to come to power through a fair election in the future. Today’s crowd proves it,” said, HM Ershad, also the ex-President of Bangladesh.

HM Ershad was addressing a grand rally at capital’s Suhrawardy Udyan on Saturday (March 24).

He said, “We have formulated a framework of the government during election-time. The election-time government has to be formed with people those who have representatives in the parliament. This government will not interfere in the elections. The EC will arrange a fair election.”

These two parties were in power for 25 years, but they couldn’t give anything to people. They only tortured and did injustice, but gave pompous speech, Ershad added.
