KERANIGANJ (DHAKA): Food Minister Qamrul Islam said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead the polls-time government in the upcoming national parliamentary polls, as per the constitution.

Regarding the possibility of BNP’s participation in the election, he said, “Whether Khaleda Zia will or wont take part in the election is the concern of the court.” 

“They (BNP) will fall in severe crisis if don’t take part in the election,” he added.

The minister, as the chief guest, was addressing a program at Keraniganj upazila parishad ground, marking the Independence Day Monday (March 26).

“We forgot dreaming after 1975. But again we learned to dream under the leadership of Bangabandhu daughter Sheikh Hasina,” added Quamrul.
