ASHULIA (DHAKA): Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that the leaders of BNP are indulging in falsehood about the illness of their convicted party chief Khaleda Zia. 

In reaction to BNP’s demand to release Khaleda from jail for her treatment, Quader said that she is doing like her previous condition, quoting the civil surgeon of Dhaka. 

Quader, also the General Secretary of Awami League, made the remark while talking to the reporters while inspecting the condition of Tongi-Ashulia-EPZ Road in Zirabo of Ashulia in Savar Saturday (March 31).

“Doctors will suggest about the necessities if she doesn’t have the condition to be treated here,” Quader added.

Dhaka-19 lawmaker Dr Enamur Rahman, Savar upazila Awami League Organizing Secretary Dewan Mehedi Hasan Monju were among others present there.
