KUSHTIA: Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif said that the decision of repealing quota system won’t be a risk rather it will work as a positive factor for the party.

Now supports from the students who stood against the quota system will go favoring the government, he said.

Hanif was talking to the reporters after exchanging views with civil society persons, at his residence in Kushtia Saturday (April 14).

Regarding BNP’s demand of creating a level-playing filed for the upcoming election, he said that all the polls arranged under the administration of present Election Commission (EC) was flawless, fair and impartial. Therefore, no situation is observed yet to create level-playing field. 

Earlier, he exchanged greetings with people from different walks of life and politicians, maring Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year.
