DHAKA: Senior leaders of BNP are going to sit for a discussion Tuesday (April 17) with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda ahead of polls to Gazipur and Khulna city corporations.

A 7-member BNP team led by its standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain will go to Election Commission (EC) office in Agargaon at 11:00am, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Media Wing Shairul Kabir Khan told Banglanews Monday (April 16).

The team includes BNP standing committee members Mirza Abbas, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Vice Chairman Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf.

However, the polls to Gazipur and Khulna city corporations are scheduled to hold on May 15.
