DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started interrogating BNP executive committee member Tabith Awal, on accusation of possessing wealth beyond known income and fishy transaction of money.
Tabith, son of BNP Vice Chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo, appeared before the ACC Headquarters in Segunbagicha of Dhaka, at 9:30am Tuesday (May 8).
Earlier, ACC sued him on April 24.
The state anti-corruption body is continuing investigation into the charges against him.
ACC sources said that they started the investigation into the charges of possessing properties beyond known income and questionable transaction against Tabith early this year.
Besides, another investigation has been started on April 2 for Tabith along with 10 senior BNP leaders.
