DHAKA: The committee of Awami League's student wing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) is not going to be announced soon, though the 29th national conference was held, said General Secretary of BCL SM Jakir Hossain.

SM Jakir Hossain came up with this announcement at the closing ceremony of the council session held in Institution of Engineers in city’s Ramna area on Saturday (May 12).

“We submitted the list of candidates to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Hopefully, the premier will inform her decision about new leadership. It may take one or two days, said SM Jakir Hossain.

BCL President Saifur Rahman Sohag directed all units to hold rallies to celebrate the launch of Bangabandhu-1, the first satellite of Bangladesh.
