DHAKA: BCCI got no objection to sending the team to Bangladesh for Asia Cup which is scheduled for February-March 2014 and the World T20 from 16 March to 6 April 2014.

Bangladeshi officials had made it clear that BCCI will play a key role in ensuring the event goes ahead smoothly.

After India has agreed, Pakistan might also send across a security team to assess the situation. Bangladesh has already promised additional security to the Pakistani team.

Bangladesh officials were worried that cancellation of the Asia Cup might ultimately lead to shifting of the World T20 as well. But with this decision, they are really happy.
