DHAKA: Sri Lanka scored 408 runs for seven wickets on the second day of the second Test against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.

Sangakkara and Ajantha Mendis are on the crease 206 and zero runs respectively.

Shakib Al Hasan bagged three wickets while Sohag Gazi, Al-Amin Hossain, Mahmudullah and Nasir Hossain picked up one wicket each.

Earlier on first day, Jayawardene scored 72 before going back to the pavilion.

On January 30, Sri Lanka won the first Test against the hosts by innings and 248 runs in Mirpur.
