DHAKA: Bangladesh pace bowler Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been ruled out of the running Asia Cup tournament in Bangladesh, due to injury.

After checking Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) report, Vibhav Singh, Physiotherapist for Bangladesh Cricket Team, came up with the disclosure on Friday.

Chief selector Faruk Ahmed and BCB Cricket Operations Committee Chairman Akram Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Besides, another bad news for cricket lovers that Bangladesh captain Mushfiqur Rahim was injured during the last match.
