DHAKA: Netherlands secured their place on super 10 after beat Ireland by six wickets in the qualifying round of Group B of ICC World T20 on Friday.                          

Netherlands scored 193 runs in reply to Ireland’s 189 for   four.                              

Batsman     SJ Myburgh scored highest 63-run off 23 balls while TLW Cooper took 45 runs from 15 balls.      

Irish bowler MAA Jamil bagged two wickets and T van der Gugten got 1.                                                                       

Earlier, Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat at Sylhet Cricket Stadium.          

Irish batsman AD Poynter took 57 runs off 38 balls and WTS Porterfield scored 47 runs off 32 balls.               

KJ O`Brien bagged two wickets while TJ Murtagh and GH Dockrell bagged one wicket each.             

Earlier on March 17, Ireland beat Zimbabwe by three wickets in the Group.
