DHAKA: South Africa are chasing Sri Lanka-set 165-run target in the Super 10 phase of the ICC World T20 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium of Chittagong on Saturday.

Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.

They lost seven wickets to score 165-run in stipulated 20-over.

Sri Lankan opener Kusal Perera scored 61-run while skipper Angelo Mathews gathered 43-run.

Imran Tahir took three-wicket while Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel took two-wicket each.

Sri Lanka proved it has a well-balanced spin-line in its armoury during their tour to Bangladesh. In addition, fast bowler Lasith Malinga, who is famous for his stylish blowing action, obviously is on track and Mahela Jayawardene and Kumar Sangakkara may bring the team’s luck.

Lankans lost against the West Indies in one of their two warm-up matches ahead of the tournament while South Africa won two of their warm-up matches.
