Kiwis beat Aussies

DHAKA: New Zealand Women beat Australia Women by 7 runs in the first match of fourth Women`s World Twenty20 at the Sylhet Cricket Stadium.
   
Aussies scored 121 runs losing all 10-wicket in response to 128 runs scored by Kiwis for eight wickets.     

Australian opener AJ Healy scored the highest 41 runs.     

Pakistan’s     HR Huddleston bagged two wickets while SW Bates, NJ Browne, HNK Jensen, MJG Nielsen and FL Mackay took one wicket each.                 

Earlier Australia won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat first.     KT Perkins scored 31-run.                                                

JL Jonassen and SJ Coyte took two-wicket each.

Australia will be looking to complete a hat-trick of World T20 titles after finishing as champions in 2010 and 2012.

On the other hand, New Zealand were losing finalists in 2009 and 2010, and made it to the semi-finals of the 2012 edition before losing to England.
