West Indies beat England

DHAKA: West Indies beat England by 9-run in the third match of Women’s World T20 at Sylhet Stadium on Monday evening.

West Indies scored 133 runs losing seven-wicket while England scored 124-run losing nine-wicket in their stipulated 20-over.                      

Opener Stafanie Taylor 56 runs off 45 balls helped West Indies to reach 133-run.   

Natalie Sciver bagged three-wicket while Anya Shrubsole took two West Indies wickets.

English opener Charlotte Edwards scored 44-run.   

Deandra Dottin took four English wickets.                                          

Earlier, England won the toss and elected to field at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.   

The match kicked-off at 3:30pm local time.
