India set 131-run target

DHAKA: India set a target of 131-run for Sri Lankan batsmen in the final match of ICC World T20 in the capital on Sunday evening.

India scored 130-run losing four wickets in their stipulated 20-over.

Virat Kohli scored 77-run while RG Sharma gathered 29-run.

KMDN Kulasekara, AD Mathews and HMRKB Herath took one wicket each.

In the rain delayed match, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Due to rain, the match was kicked off at 7:40pm at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium of Mirpur.

India might be coming in as the stronger side into the final, but Sri Lanka have an extra incentive to win it for their legends Mahela Jayawardhane and Kumar Sangakkara, who are playing their last T20 games.
