DHAKA: Bangladeshi pacer Rubel Hossain’s six wicket haul including a hat-trick destroyed the Kiwi batting line-up as the Blackcaps were struggling to score another 46 runs from 23 balls in the first one-day-international of the three-ODI series at Sher-e Bangla Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday night.

Visiting New Zealand has scored 162 for the loss of nine wickets after 29 over.  Earlier, Bangladesh set a 266 run target for the Kiwis

Rubel devastated the Kiwi middle-order picking up consecutive wickets of Corey Anderson, Brendon Mccullum and JDS Neesham.

Rubel Hossain has claimed a hat-trick along with six wickets.

Earlier, the New Zealand team won the toss and opted to bowl first.
