Bangladeshi tech company WPDeveloper has declared “Startise” as its parent company, aiming to expand services for over six million users across 180 countries worldwide.

“Not a traditional brand, we envision a core group that will foster innovation, and growth, and have the potential to stand tall globally,” Startise Founder and Chairman M Asif Rahman told a programme at Radisson Blu Dhaka recently.

More than 500 people including industry stakeholder and employees took part at the celebration programme titled “Grand Surprise Event”.

Addressing the programme, BASIS President Russell T Ahmed appreciated the role of Startise founder to make an example for the software companies.

“Asif is not only a software entrepreneur; he is my brother who gained success with his dedication for Wordpress platforms over the years. Now, Startise is an example for many of us. I strongly believe Startise will lead the way for creating a billion-dollar company from Bangladesh,” Ahmed said.

As per announcement of chief executive, Startise will be an umbrella company of five portfolios—WPDeveloper, Templately, xCloud, easy.jobs, and Storeware.

JCI Bangladesh National President Imran Kadir, Startise founder and Managing Director Nazmul Hasan Rupok, Chief Marketing Officer Afshana Rahman also spoke on the occasion.

The company has gained momentum in developing ad-on for Wordpress platform apart from development of Shopify product and application.
